How do I use the Aroma Diffuser?

Unscrew the cap of the fragrance bottle and insert it into the bottom of your diffuser. You’ll hear a click when it’s properly inserted. Place the diffuser on an even surface such as your bedside table. Connect the USB cable to your diffuser and plug it into a power source. Press the on/off button to start the 10 minute cycle. You’ll see a fine mist rise from the top, and a subtle light will turn on – both will automatically turn off after 10 minutes. Click the on/off button at any time to end the cycle manually.

How long does the fragrance bottle last?

One glass fragrance bottle holds enough liquid for at least 50 10-minute cycles. When the diffuser light turns on, but no fragrance is released, it is time to change the fragrance bottle.

What fragrances are available?

The Ritual of Jing Aroma Diffuser is based on the essential oils of Lavender and Sacred Wood. Known to clear the mind and soothe the soul, this fragrance is a perfect accompaniment to evening meditation and promotes a relaxing sleep.

Where do I place the Aroma Diffuser in my house?

The ideal placement for your Aroma Diffuser is on a flat, steady surface such as a bedside table. For an optimal experience, take care to protect it from air flows such as from an air conditioner or open window.

It is best not to move the Aroma Diffuser too often once the refill bottle is inserted. Choose a spot where it will be close at hand when you are preparing for a good night’s rest.

How do I turn off the diffuser?

After the 10 minute cycle, the light and the diffuser will automatically turn off. You can switch it off earlier by pressing the on/off button. The USB cable can also be disconnected from the power supply when the Aroma Diffuser is not in use.

How can I clean the Aroma Diffuser?

Regularly wipe the diffuser and the surface it is resting on to remove any residue from the mist. Switch off the Aroma Diffuser before cleaning and disconnect it from the power supply. Use a soft tissue to avoid scratching the diffuser, and a cotton swab to gently remove dust or liquid from the metal plate. Do not use any cleaning products or immerse the Aroma Diffuser in water.

For storage, please remove the fragrance bottle and place the plastic cap back on top. Check that the metal plate within the diffuser is clean before storing it.

My Aroma Diffuser is not working anymore. What should I do?

If your diffuser stops working, try the steps below:

Check the refill fragrance bottle. If it is empty it will need to be replaced with a refill. If there is still liquid remaining, check that the wick is in good condition, and make sure the refill is placed correctly in the diffuser. You will hear a ‘click’ when it is in place.
Check the metallic plate within the diffuser. If there is any dust or liquid, use a cotton swab to gently remove it.
Check that the USB cable is properly connected to the device and to the power supply.
Check the placement of the diffuser. For the best experience, it should be placed on a flat, steady surface, 1.5 m above the floor and protected from air flows. Make sure to only use the diffuser indoors at room temperature.

Can I also use the Perfume Genie cartridges in the Aroma Diffuser?

The Ritual of Jing Aroma Diffuser works in a different way from our Perfume Genie. As such, the Perfume Genie cartridges cannot be used in the Aroma Diffuser, and the Aroma Diffuser refills do not work in the Perfume Genie.
